On March 10
2008,
Falconcity

signed an
agreement
with Dubai
Electricity
and Water
Authority (DEWA)
for the
establishment
of a 132
kilowatts
electrical
plant.
This plant
is one of
the 4 power
stations
intended to
be built in
Falconcity
of Wonders
and provide
electrical
power for
this mega
integrated
city.
The
construction
of the power
station was
assigned by
Dubai
Electricity
and Water
Authority to
one of its
specialized
and approved
companies
that execute
DEWA
projects.

tourist
destinations
in the
world.
Shaped after
the Falcon,
which is
symbolic of
UAE's
heritage,
the Falcon
City of
Wonders is a
unique,
purpose-built
community
project
featuring
structures
based on the
wonders of
the world,
such as the
Pyramids,
the Hanging
Gardens of
Babylon, the
Eiffel
Tower, the
Taj Mahal,
the Great
Wall of
China, the
Leaning
Tower of
Pisa and the
Light House
of
Alexandria.
The project
is spread
over an area
of four
million
square
metres, and
is divided
into five
overlapped
phases, with
the first
phase
expected to
begin by the
first
quarter of
2006.
